the afterglow friend fund, created in 2023, brings more accessibility to quality yoga experiences for members of our community. with community support, we are able to offer sliding scale memberships and discounted class packs to those who might need extra support.
please note that friend fund scholarships are extremely limited – while we can’t guarantee that we are able to provide our services for every applicant, our team thoroughly reviews each submission to ensure we are spreading the love as best we can! If your application is selected, you will receive an email from our support team.
we’ve been able to plant roots and grow as a studio for many reasons – one being that the hartford arts community we are nestled in has shared their richness, creativity, and beauty with our space since its conception. afterglow isn’t just built on yoga and wellness; but has become a true mosaic of art: sound, color, feeling, movement, and more. everyone has art within them, and if you step through these doors, you’re a part of the fabric that is afterglow.
we’ll be offering four artist memberships each quarter.
this quarter will run from july – september 2024. submissions close on june 30.
- artist memberships are $40 off of the normal price ($75/month instead of $115/month). this includes unlimited class, 15% off of events + merch, one guest pass a month, and complimentary mat storage.
- artists will have their work spotlighted at the studio + online.
- in addition, those selected will be showcased at our first ever *afterglow after hours* – a new community social + wellness event… more details to come.
while we think everyone is an artist, please note that this membership program is for *working artists* only – musicians, photographers, dancers, painters, sculptors, etc etc etc!
our intentions are to offer more accessible pricing to working artists, as well as showcase the artists within our community.
